CSI Case File #149- Family Ski Wishes

Oooh Lots of Winter Fun inspiration over at the CSI challenge blog.   Loving the hints of Blues with a touch of Yellow and Green in this color combo and to top it off, another Page Drafts sketch by the Nifty Pixel.   My take on this challenge:  

  On this page I used Fiber paste & Gelatos on my background, but to color my woode snowflakes I used Silks color #3-720 Azurite. It really gives a nice shimmer, unfortunatly I can't show it on the picture, but if you like some shine to your work, I recommend you try the Silks paints, they are wonderful to play with.   So my page is with a picture of my boys with my husband, during one of our ski excursions of last year. We ski at least 10 times per year, and it truly is a great Family activity. We are blessed that our boys still want to follow us, and we enjoy every moment.   My evidence for this page: Plaid & Striped papers Polka dot Mixed Media with Gelatos background Silks painted woodgrain snowflakes   My Testimony: Family Ski Wishes: 1-Warm Sunny days 2-Time with my family 3-Lots of smiles 4-Hot cocoa 5- Many many snowy days

On s'amuse avec des défis SAP

Un peu de temps libre = temps pour s'amuser dans mon atelier. Voici mon défi fait inspiré des défis Scrap aux Puces de Décembre: Défi charte des couleurs:

Voici les couleurs de la charte des couleurs, bon le défi est celui pour un Art Journal, mais elle m'a inspiré une page à la place...

La page est un souvenir de ma première course 5KM qui a eu lieu a Oka le 2 novembre dernier avec des gens de mon groupe de course. Une belle expérience donc je suis très fier.

Challenge YOUrself challenge #13

Hi everyone, this is my first page on the Design Team for Challenge YOUrself. If you are new to Challenge YOUrself, one of the most important part of the challenge is that it has to be a picture of Yourself !  Challenge number 13 is: Traditions What are some of your traditions for the upcoming holiday season? Well we have many at our house, from the Elfs to buying a Christmas ornament on every vacation to making the tree as a family. But one of my favorite traditions are the games that we play like Guessing the Gift. I have to say, my husband is the master at keeping me guessing every year. So this is the topic I chose for my page:

CSI case 148

If you know me, you know I am not a pastel color type of gal, I love my bright colors and my friend Marie-France would say that it's my signature style. A few weeks ago, i found this beautiful watercolor look Blue Fern paper collection, I could not resist and bought it not knowing when I would use it, but I just couldn't resist (yes, I am a scrapaholic impulsive addict)... Well the CSI team have created a beautiful color combo challenge that was just perfect to use with my new papers. Whohoo moment ! So here is my take on the challenge:

I just love this old picture of my boys, I miss that age, hard to believe they are 15 & 17 now, oh how time flies...

CSI Most Wanted for CF147

Well, what can I say other than Thanks CSI team for choosing my page in the Most Wanted list. I had struggled with the color combo on this one, the blues were not my standard selection of colors so it makes it double the fun to have been chosen. 

What a nice way to start a vacation day ! Now off to my craft room for some crafty play time !

Art Journal challenge

Ok so I do have many of them in my Art Journal, so the challenge of making little houses was an easy one for me. I did a Christmas canvas recently, but decided to make one in my journal too... So here is my Art Journal page for a challenge at Scrap aux Puces.

So today is a 'Me Day' and guess what I have planned for most of the day !!! Yup, some crafty time...  Whoopeee !
