Hi crafters, it's time for a brand new exciting challenge on the More Than Words blog. With time, all of us gather in some shape or form. I had lots to choose from ironically, now I have chosen to play with tiny stars from JenniBowlin.
Here is the More Than Words inspiration board:
I hope you will play along, thanks for your visit.
It's May challenge time and I am super excited about this one... Weekend... now surely you will have tons of inspiration and way to get crafty around this one.
On my end, I chose to work with a WEEKEND work travel trip, where I had the opportunity to travel a part of Canada that I've been dreaming of visiting for 20 years... Banff Canada, and it is spectacular. It was hard to select my favorite of my many shots of this beautiful area, I hope you like my selected MULTIPLE PHOTOS and my sketch created for this challenge.
Of course I used one of my all time favorite turquoise from Lindy's: Time Travel Teal
Now I know you'll be super inspired by our April challenge : Baby and Pastels
I just had to do a layout of my friend's daughter, she is just too adorable.
I wanted something soft, so I chose to make my stamped flowers in a light pink hue using my Lindy's stamp gang sprays. I heat e,bossed my chipies in an even lighter tone. The small touches if the pink, gives this baby layout the softness that works well with the baby picture.
I am living the dream of visiting my FANTASY land this month with our More Than Words challenge.
Oh what fun did I have with this one. I've had this amazing funky flower stamp set in my stash just waiting for me to play around with. They were just perfect to create my imaginary FANTASY world as I would of course be the Queen Fairy in my world and you know, all Queen Fairies have huge WINGS.
Here is my watercolor project:
I used Strathmore 12x 12 watercolor paper, started my background by stamping my flowers with Archival ink. Then colored with my elements with watercolors.
For my Fairy, I used a Dina Wakely Stamp and added chipboard wings that I covered in black gesso and altered with my Prima Finnabair Waxes.
Here is the inspiration board, I hope you'll be inspired and want to play along.
Join us for this challenge & thanks for stopping by !
