Fantasy & Wings for More Than Words

I am living the dream of visiting my FANTASY land this month with our More Than Words challenge.

Oh what fun did I have with this one. I've had this amazing funky flower stamp set in my stash just waiting for me to play around with. They were just perfect to create my imaginary FANTASY world as I would of course be the Queen Fairy in my world and you know, all Queen Fairies have huge WINGS.

Here is my watercolor project:

I used Strathmore 12x 12 watercolor paper, started my background by stamping my flowers with Archival ink. Then colored with my elements with watercolors.

For my Fairy, I used a Dina Wakely Stamp and added chipboard wings that I covered in black gesso and altered with my Prima Finnabair Waxes.

Dream

Today was my day to relax since I've been under the weather these last few days. Nothing better to get the creativity going than blog challenges.

Here is my page of the day... DREAM

I enjoy making my backgrounds, on this one I used Cotton Candy Pink by Lindy's.

I like making clusters of ornaments mixing flairs, metal, die-cuts and flowers. This flair from Cuts2luv was just perfect for this page. Emma is truly a beauty in her own way.

Lovely - June Lyndy's Stamp Gang challenge entry

My inspiration for this beautiful color combo was this stunning picture of my niece with her lovely belly in this field of flowers. She is 8 months pregnant with her second child, a son and she is just a radiant beauty.

I just love how this page turned out. I wanted a soft page. I used this lovely 7 dots studio paper. Then added some mixtures of ink with the following colors:

Alpine Ice Rose Spray

C'est la vie Cerise spray

Bonjour Butter spray

I used the same colors to paint my 49 and market embossed flowers:

I wanted to add brilliance, so I added touches of embossing on my page and on my tags:

Desert Moon turquoise embossing

More than Words challenge participation

Oh how I love the More than words blog challenges. For this month the inspiration is TOGETHER and ampersand. For the together section, I used this wonderful picture of my husband and I during our Portugal trip last October. Walking along in the wonderful water gardens of the Pena Palace was just so romantic and amazing. For the amperstand, I had theses lovely stamps:  This & That Here & Now

I had fun playing with a watercolor background with my Lindy`s magicals, stamps, flowers and one beautiful flair from Cuts2luv.

Um Wow Blog Challenge Mars- Pink !!!!

A beautiful sketch challenge from the Um Wow Challenge team for March. I just love the watercolor they added to the sketch and the layering.   Here is my interpretation of the sketch.

 

So what a fabulous evening with a group of girlfriends. 2 of my besties from New-Brunswisk came up for the weekend just for this event. Wow.. what a show. There are no words to say how impressive it was and we had Fantastic seats.
