This month for my Cuts2luv page I had the pleasure of making a layout for a good friend Marina. I loved this wedding picture of her bridal party and I was pleased when she accepted that I use her photo for one of the layouts that I'll be offering her.
The hues in the background were the starting point, when you don't have anything to match in your stash, the build your own I say. I build this one by using a stencil with gel medium, then once dry, I started to play with my Lindy's inks.
I wanted the picture to remain the focus point on the page, so I kept the ornaments in various dark shades of the pink-purple tones.
The title is watercolor cardstock that I die-cut, then with a thin layer of glue over the die-cut, I was able to cover it with glitter.
One of the Cuts2luv flairs is tucked away, but gives a great touch to the title
The other flair is in the top corner, I chose this hand drawn flower because it was just perfect for a wedding picture layout.

I will also be entering this layout in the Lindy's gang February color challenge.
Thanks again to Marina for letting me play with your picture, now, I'll be having fun to bring this in my luggage next time I go to the US for work !
