Whoohoooo !  

What can I say other than I am head over heels in Love with my new blog look, created by none other than my Ausie friend Emma Stafrace. I met Em while exchanging ATC's a few years ago, and have admired her work ever since. Emma is by far ma favorite Digital and traditional scrapbooker. Her creativeness is out of the world, and she inspires me often thru her sketches at Page Drafts and her daily crafty pages. Here is a sample of her creative goodies:

A friendly challenge - Un défi de Scrap

While scrapping with some friends, I was given the following challenge to create my page, I hope you like it, I really struggled with the pictures since what I had with me was quite limited. I do enjoy the result, it is quite different than my usual work. The journaling I really enjoyed and will probably do this again.

Lors d'une soirée de scroppines, les filles m'ont donné le défi ci-bas.  J'ai eu un peu de difficulté, car les photos que j'avais en ma posséssion étaient limités, mais je suis très heureuse du résultat. Je vais certainement faire ce style de journaling de nouveau, j'adore l'effet que cela donne à la page.

1. Use 3 different stamps / 3 tampons différents
2. Use 2 Pictures / Utiliser 2 photos
3. Add 5 Stars / Ajouter 5 étoiles
4. Journaling has to be biger than the picture / Le text doit être plus grand que la photo
5. Use Washi tape / Utiliser du ruban Washi

Oh this picture brings me back in time, 3 years ago, I took the kids horseback riding, we had a blast, especially getting the horses to walk in the mud. Hope you enjoy this page that I created using the Funky Fall paper collection from Lucky 7 Factory.

Ah ce que cette photo me ramène dans le temps... Il y a 3 ans, mes fils et moi avons fait une sortie en équitation. Une magnifique journée! Je souhaite que vous allez aimer cette dernière production de la collection de papier Funky Fall de Lucky 7 Factory.



CSI#55- My Faves

Here is my participation for this week. CSI provided the members a beautiful page of images and sayings and it inspired me to make a page with my new passion DECAF Tea from David's Tea. I had the perfect paper to match the color palette with my favorite local manufacturer Lucky 7 Factory. I just love how it came out, very soft and monochrome effect. I also had fun dying my background white paper with tea... and also added tea stains to my top page.

There are quite subtle details like the diamond shape gel medium that add dimension to the page, but they are not overwhelming since they are light in color. The doodles over the teacup give a whimsical effect.

Hope you enjoy this one, I find it relaxing to look at, just a perfect color combo for my DECAF tea!
