Tag duo for Creative Embellishments

I am in a summer mood and wanted to create some beautiful tags for gifts to my friends. 

The starting point of my project was theses beautiful tag album from Creative Embellishments that I covered in Gesso.

Then I added with a paint brush, my 1st coat of Lindy's Stamp gang spray color Tiffany Lou Blue

The second coat is done in touches and then some splatters with Mad Hatter Mint

Next step was to emboss with white my butterfly and bird cage chipboard and add my other decorative elements. One of my favorite element is this beautiful colored stamp from Altenew, it highlights my flair perfectly:

Graduation, my Creative Embellishments DT project

I've been charmed with many of the Creative Embellishments chipboard and found some that were perfect for the graduation picture of my youngest son Gabriel. My second inspiration was to play with my new Finnabair Wax. I just received them and wanted to test the effects on chipboard and other surfaces.

I wanted to share my tests with you and made this Youtube video for you to see my process:

Live in the moment

My eldest son Philippe is in the Autism spectrum disorder. He is a fantastic young man, and I love him so much, but at times I do worry about what his future will be. He his a kind and gentile soul.

I bought him this pink shirt last year, very trendy with flamingos. He loves animals and this shirt fit him so well. I loved this on him and felt it represented his soft side very well.

A few key phrases:

 I am in the mood for pinks and purples lately. I think many of us in Canada are looking forward to some beautiful weather. On my part, I wanted to remember this beautiful moment during our trip to Portugal last fall. O'Porto was such an amazing place. I just fell in LOVE.

Vacances

It's a rainy May so far in Canada, so perfect weather to get crafty. I started this page yesterday during National Scrapbooking day, I hope that many of you had the chance to play with your craft supplies yesterday.
I am in the need of sun, so I took out one of our beautiful family pictures from last summer's vacation in beautiful Cuba.

I love this picture with my boys, I am blessed that they are so kind and gentle. I am proud of the young men they have become. As a mother, I've been quite blessed. So happy that we are close and even as young adults, they still enjoy spending time with us as a family and I cherish every moment.

My inspiration for this page came from More than Words and Altenew challenges: MORE THAN WORDS challenge: HERE MOTHER: For this project, I feel blessed to be a mom, so I wanted to use a picture of myself with my boys.As they get older, I know these moments of spending time with them on vacation will be fewer, it's the fact of life, so I truly want to ensure I enjoy every moment that I have with them.  FLOWERS: Fot this part, I chose to color some stamps from Altenew. I find the process of coloring and cutting our my stamps so relaxing and I love the look they give my pages.   Second challenge entry is at Altenew: May Inspiration challenge  Here are a few pics of my water-colored flowers:
