Let's Get Lost !

I love capturing our travel adventures on paper. The challenge this month is :

MEMORIES & FRAME

I chose to make this layout from one of our travels in Portugal, the famous tram 28 in Lisbon. On my layouts, I included 4 frames embossed in 3 different colors

I enjoy making my own backgrounds. The starting point was a beautiful paper collection fro L'Encre et L'Image. I added a coat of Lindy's Yellow Rose of Texas spray. White Gesso thru a Donna Downey Stencil & lots of stamping

I LOVE using chipboard small frames from Creative Embellishments for my clustering. They make such a beautiful starting point. Then Add a few flowers, a beautiful Cuts2luv flair, a stamped image and voila, an amazing cluster of elements.

Here I layered 2 frames in different embossing colors to add dimension on my page. The black Cuts2luv  flair Let's Get Lost over my yellow 49 and Market flowers was perfect for this page. 

And here another amazing world map Cuts2luv flair, this time with ana amazing prima flower.

Tableau d'inspiration Mars pour Cuts2luv

J'adore m'inspirer des magnifiques tableaux Cuts2luv. C'est tellement une belle façon de commencer un projet lorsqu'on a le syndrome de la page blanche.

Pour ma inspiration du tableau de mars, je vous présente cette page:

Chut je rêve.... petit mot parfait pour cette photo de ma nièce, son conjoint tenant leur beau Ayden. Le badge cœur on craque ! Tellement beau mise en valeur sur ce capteur de rêve. Un badge parfait pour le défi badge à un motif.

Un des éléments du défi est de faire un chipboard altéré, pour ma part, c'est l'horlorge. on débute avec une couche de gesso noir et ensuite j'ajoute des touches de wax (cires) de Finnabair/Prima. J'adore cette technique.

Today was my day to relax since I've been under the weather these last few days. Nothing better to get the creativity going than blog challenges.

Here is my page of the day... DREAM

I enjoy making my backgrounds, on this one I used Cotton Candy Pink by Lindy's.

I like making clusters of ornaments mixing flairs, metal, die-cuts and flowers. This flair from Cuts2luv was just perfect for this page. Emma is truly a beauty in her own way.

Light stamping with grey adds additional depth to this layout

More than Words January challenge

Happy New Year everyone !

Time to get our crafty resolutions in gear and start having fun with the More Than Words blog challenge.

It's an exciting day as this is my very first project as part of the More Than Words Design team member for 2018. I hope you'll enjoy my take on the challenge and join in on the fun.

My test subject for this project, my friend's beautiful daughter Lauren.

Word Inspiration - BIRTHDAY
Creative Challenge - TAGS

On my part, BIRTHDAY inspired me with celebrating your very 1st birthday. Lauren has a smash the cake style photoshoot to celebrate her very first birthday. Oh how I wish that concept had existed when my boys where that age. I love the softness of the picture and wanted to capture that in my creation.

TAGS: Are they not just so versatile and easy to use on our layouts? To ensure I had the right tones, I opted to make my 3 tags using my dies and using papers for the same collection.

A bit of twine for the top of the TAG and voila, instant decorative element.

I am a big fan of flairs, and this Cuts2luv butterfly flair was just perfect:

I love when the paper vendors also make word stickers, this paper collection from Kaisercraft had the perfect Happy Birthday for this page.

Light embossing of butterflies and some added water coloring with my Lindy's stains gives this layout the softness that I was looking for.

Flowers, a Cuts2luv flair, a butterfly cluster and voila, all done.

Tis the Season pour Cuts2luv

Presque la fin de mois, il n'est pas trop tard pour vous joindre au défi du mois. Pour ma part, le défi m'a inspiré une page thématique de Noël. On sors les vieilles photos et on s'amuse avec une superbe collection de papier aux détails métallique.
