New Design Team starting January: Creative Embellishments

I am sooo excited to share this news, starting January I have the fabulous opportunity to join the Creative Embellishments team.  

 

 

  Thank you Nicolle for this wonderful opportunity.   It is quite an honnor to have the chance to work closely with some very talented crafty gals. I hope you'll come play along the monthly challenges.   I can't wait to get started!  

Lindy's Stamp Gang December challenge

Oh my, what a very inspirational moodboard for the December Lindy's challenge this month. Oh how it makes me wish my boys were that young again.  

 

I was inspired by the colors and a recent picture that I had taken with my December favorite starbucks coffee. Bliss... It truly is bliss when I enjoy this Praline cup. I played around with a new app on my iphone and developped the picture in a funny way, here is a closer look:

Word Inspiration - TRADITIONS

Creative Challenge - HANDMADE

 

My tradition is simple, every year, I add a new ornament to my tree. It is either purchased during a trip, one of the hand painted yearly ornaments from Pier One Imports or handmade by my kids, myself or a friend. Over the years many ornaments have been added and buidling my tree every year just takes me back to the special moments that we've had as a family.

 

 

Fo the handmade part of my page, I added many layers of stucture to my paper for the background and embossed all my chipboards.

 

On this page, I modified my picture with an app on my i-phone, here is a closer look at the picture.

 

 

In my tree, many ornaments are hand made. Here is one that I love made by my friend Renee:

 

 

And one of my yearly hand painte ornaments  that I purchase at Pier one Imports:

Tag #6 Scrap Aux Puce challenge, on this one, we were asked to use some glass beads or other elements. I used gel bead medium and sparkle flakes by 13@rts

Tag #5 for Scrap aux Puce challenge, this time we are required to add stitching. I hand stitched the snowflake.

Tag #4 for the Scrap Aux Puce challenge, the requirement was an ombr/ background using Distress inks.

Annie_s challenge on Scrap aux Puce is to use 2 types of stars. On my part I used my stencil and Scrap Fimo fabric Star.

Ahhh I am starting to craft my album from our trip to Portugal, what a beautiful place, I can't wait to start sharing my pages with you. For this page, another picture from Lisbon, a beautiful October sunset in downtown Lisbon. I was inspired by the color conbo at Lindy's stamp gang.

On this one, I love the effect my Lindy's embossing gave my chipboards, just stunning with this beautiful metallic badge from Cuts2Luv.

 

Then I sed my sprays to paint in this beautiful stamped image:

Always & Forever - More than Words blog challenge

On this day, 20 years ago under the warm Jamaican sun, I said I do...   I do to a wonderful man, that has been very loving, supportive, funny and charming and I am so looking forward to the many years to come at his side.   Here is my take on the ''Something Blue'' component of the challenge.  

 

I made my background by layering a coat of Gesso, then added with a paintbrush some touches of my lindy's sprays.

 

 

I just love cluering flowers. And since we got married in Jamaica, I added a few seashells with my beautiful Cuts2Luv flair button.

Sun Sand Surf - Dusty Attic challenge

Good day everyone, it's fall here in Canada, so days are getting shorter and it's getting dark early, what a wonderful way to forget the fall by being inspired by the bright colors of the beautiful moodboard for the november challenge at Dusty Attic.   The blues and greens just made me want to get crafty with our summer vacation picture of our trip to Cuba. Here is my page for this challenge.  

 

Products used on this page are the chipboards from Dusty Attic, badges from Cuts2Luv, flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, DYIandcie diecut, the new papers from KarineCazenave & word stickers from 123Scrap.

 

 

Two of my favorite product used are my wonderful Lindy's Stamp gang sprays and my brand new embossing dabber from Ranger:  

 

 

So much fun being able to add 3 different embossing powders

Bon matin, en ce beau mois de Novembre, je vous présente un défi inspiration Pub.   La pub est celle d'un voyage, la consigne est de fair eun e page avec une photo de voyage, nous dire c'est ou et ce que vous avez aimé du voyage.   Voici la Pub:  

    Pour ma page, j'ai prise une photo du tram 28 de Lisbon au Portugal, j'ai tombé sous le charme de cette ville avec ses rues étroites lors de notre visite à bord de ce tram.   Nous avons eu des journées grises et couverte de nuage, alors ce papier était juste parfait pour ma page.
