Harry Potter- oh yes another one

I still have so many beautiful pictures of our visit to the Harry Potter World, my souvenir album is coming along slowly but surely.   For this page I got inspired by 2 things... 1st was the challenge of placing lots of thread onto our page at Scrapauxpuces and the 2nd inspiration came from a page that I had pined on my Pinterest board.   I used 2 colors of thread Red & Grey on 3 different areas of my page.  

 

On my page I used: Washi tape, Prima light, Creation Imaginations Harry Potter stickers (Yes, I've had them for a while so don't go trying to find them, they've been sold out for ages) The papers are actually a Christmas Collection from 7 Dots Studio, it's such a beautiful collection, who says it needs to only be used for Christmas Themed pages???

 

So I sraplifted this page created by Delaina Burns, an artist I discovered via 7 dots studio blog. I just fell in Love with her page and really wanted to make a page that had a similar look and feel.

Harry Potter Fan

As myou migh thave noticed, I am a big kid at heart. I Love the Harry Potter series and the park in Orlando. So far, I have visited 4 times and now on my buckt list is to visit the studio in London.   My page was inspired by an online challenge. I needed to include pages of an old book. It just inspired me to do another of my Harry Potter souvenir page. I also had the stamp that I loved the quote: I'm in my own little world, but it's okay because they know me there. I felt the quote fitting because any Harry Potter fan would understand that it truly would be a world that I'd love to say I lived in, so maybe for the 1 day I visit the park, I can pretend.    

  Papers are from the Harry Potter collection, I added some gel medium numbers and letters are the bottom for effect. I aslo adde some Blue Fern studio chipboards that I colored with my Distress stains.   Do you share my Potter passion?

En route vers l"Espagne cette fois avec une découverte de Esther Ayala. J'adore son style libre, les amas de couleurs vives qu'elle utilise. Une superbe découverte.

La page est une photo souvenir de notre voyage au parc Universal Studios Harry Potter, la nouvelle section Diagon Alley. Une superbe journée avec ma famille l'été dernier. C'est tellement magique ce moment.

 

The page is a souvenir of our visit to Universal Studios Diagon Alley last summer. Visiting the Harry Potter section is so Magical. So happy to have had such a wonderful time with my family last summer.

C'est Magique---Hogwarts !

Finalement, une page souvenir de notre visite du Monde de Harry Potter au Universal Studios Orlando. Quel monde magique, les décors coupent le soufle, c'est MAGIQUE !!!! Nous avons eu tellement de plaisir lors de notre journée, quoi de mieux que cette photo de Poudlar prise au petite heures du matin lors de notre arrivée au parc. Ah la magie de Harry Potter !

Finally, I've completed my first souvenir page of our Universal Studios Harry Potter World visit... It's simply MAGICAL. Such an impressive set-up. We were lucky to be there bright and early so I have this wonderful picture of Hogwarts without the crowd. What a FABULOUS day !
