Follow your dreams pour Cuts2luv

L'été dernière, lors de nos vacances, nous en avons profité pour faire un petit shooting photo en famille. J'ai fait cette page de mon plus jeune fils Gabriel, beau comme un cœur et adorable. Cette année est une grosse année, il termine le Cégep et va faire son entrée à l'Université. Alors, le titre 'follow your dreams' est tellement parfait pour cette page.

Pour cette page, j'ai superposé 2 badge, une caméra et ainsi que le badge brique pour le look grunge de la page.

Voyez-vous le sisal bleu foncé et les racines sous mon montage? J'adore l'ajout de cette texture

Un montage avec plusieurs chipboard style grunge donne une page très masculine.

Tableau d'inspiration Mars pour Cuts2luv

J'adore m'inspirer des magnifiques tableaux Cuts2luv. C'est tellement une belle façon de commencer un projet lorsqu'on a le syndrome de la page blanche.

Pour ma inspiration du tableau de mars, je vous présente cette page:

Chut je rêve.... petit mot parfait pour cette photo de ma nièce, son conjoint tenant leur beau Ayden. Le badge cœur on craque ! Tellement beau mise en valeur sur ce capteur de rêve. Un badge parfait pour le défi badge à un motif.

Un des éléments du défi est de faire un chipboard altéré, pour ma part, c'est l'horlorge. on débute avec une couche de gesso noir et ensuite j'ajoute des touches de wax (cires) de Finnabair/Prima. J'adore cette technique.

Today was my day to relax since I've been under the weather these last few days. Nothing better to get the creativity going than blog challenges.

Here is my page of the day... DREAM

I enjoy making my backgrounds, on this one I used Cotton Candy Pink by Lindy's.

I like making clusters of ornaments mixing flairs, metal, die-cuts and flowers. This flair from Cuts2luv was just perfect for this page. Emma is truly a beauty in her own way.

Passion -Cuts2luv for MixedUp Magazine

A few months ago, the Cuts2luv team were invited to participate on a special project for the Mixed Up online magazine.

Have you seen Mixed Up magazine? It's a Mixed Media focus online publication and boy was it exciting to have the opportunity to present a project along side my fabulous team members Sandra Bernard, Caroline Elliam, Valerie Ouellet and so many popular Mixed Media artists like Louise Nelson, Rikka Kovasin, Torsa Saha and Mandy Leevre-Koel.

Today I would like to share this project with you.

For this project, I used a 6 x 6 canvas with deep canvas.

I stenciled my background then played with different stains to color my background. Once I added my chipboard, I added some black beads and gel paste to increase the affects.

I used Art Alchemy wax to color my chipboard that was covered in black gesso.

To add extra texture, I used black straw from 13@rts.

I used 2 Cuts2luv flairs and the Cuts2luv chipboard title:
